Wilbur Casteel was born and raised in Marshfield, Missouri. He joined the U.S. Air Force after he graduated high school and his first assignment was Fortuna, ND. Wilbur tells stories about his times working at the radar base west of Fortuna. He met his wife Beverly (formerly Overbo) in Crosby, ND during his time stationed in Fortuna. Together they raised three kids and moved around the United States, serving the Air Force, before they ultimately moved back to Crosby. Wilbur is a natural comic. He told many funny and interesting stories about his whole life that will have you laughing, and maybe even tearing up at times. He is quite the guy.
